People with pets be Cat or Dog

I have a little Dog who I rescued 3 years ago from the Kennels ( my Avatar) he had a very bad past and was a very scared little Fellow From when I got him he had this cough and I thought it was Kennel Cough, but he was also choking as though he was trying to cough something up, this never went, I asked a couple of Vets in the past and they said he had something wrong with his throat, last week I had to rush him to the Vet because of something else that was wrong with him and made him very ill, after he was sorted and had treatment I mentioned coughing (which actually sounds like he is clearing his throat but then can't breathe) and the Choking to this Vet, well he checked the little Fellow, only to have to tell me that Gissi has a Heart Murmur which is what he had suspected as soon as I mentioned the fits he was having. At  the moment Gissi is ok but if he gets worse which the Vet said he will Gissi will have to go on Medication or his Heart will fail. So please if you have a Cat or Dog and you hear them doing this get them checked out just to be sure and safe, for 3 Years I was not aware what I was dealing with but at least now I do. Be safe and get it checked
