HI MY NAME IS JOSH ALL OF YOU KNOW ME AS JUICY J WELL LAST NIGHT 1/21/08 AT APPROXIMATELY 1:20 AM MY ELDEST COUSIN KENNETH DURDEN WAS GUNNED DOWN OVER A ARGUEMENT OVER A LOWRIDER HOP CONTEST. KENNETH WAS A GOOD GUY ALL HE EVER WANTED WAS FOR HIS FAM. AND FRIENDS TO BE HAPPY HE WAS THE ONE WHO ACTUALLY NAMED ME JOSHUA FOR HIM I AM VERY GRATEFUL. I WILL ALWAYS MISS HIM AND HE WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART. I DONT KNOW HOW TO REALLY EVEN DEAL WITH THIS BUT AS APART OF THE LOUNGE AND AS WE ALL SAY 'WE ARE FAMILY" SO I WAS JUST LETTING YOU GUYS & GALS KNOW THAT ME AND MY FAMILY IS IN MOURNING AND I DONT THINK THAT I WILL BE ON THE LOUNGE MUCH ANYMORE THIS REALLY TAKES ALOT OUTTA ME THIS IS JUST 1 0F 6 DEATHS I HAD WITHIN THE PAST 7 MONTHS AND RIGHT NOW I AM REALLY NUMB TO THE WORLD. I REALLY WISH THE BEST TO THE LOUNGE AND ILL TALK TO YOU ALL SOON. I LOVE THE LOUNGE JUST LIKE I LOVE MY OWN FAMILY. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL. HAPPY MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY.

I found this going through old post, I hope you're holding up okay. Its not quite the same, but a friend's boyfriend shot himself while talking to her the other day and mom and child were gunned down in a drive by (abq is dangerous - all over) around the corner. Its not the same, but even being touched by tragedy to this extent makes me very aware of my own and my family's mortality.

1st off, if there's anything the Lounge can do, just let me know, 2nd, I pray that gun-man is brought to swift justice and the bible does mention "Vengenance is Mine says the Lord" and 3rd, that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guards your mind and heart, as well as your family. satan is damned, and will get his, you just keep pushing strong for your cousin.
