He did her get pregnant?  What happened?  When someone you do not love anymore you must have left her already before she got pregnant.  When was the love lost?  When she got pregnant?  I really do not see any reason why would he lose interest in the relationship except he wants to escape from responsibility of being a father of their baby.

he needs to tell her ASAP.  if he tries to stay with her they are both going to be miserable.  but he also needs to take responsibility for his child and realize that she will always be a part of his life because of the baby
