How is everyones weekend going. My isnt going very well. My husband quit his job. I lose one of my jobs at 

the end of oct.  i am not doing very well.

A man was walking in the street when he heard a voice: "Stop! Stand still! If you take one more step, a brick will fall down on your head and kill you." The man stopped and a big brick fell right in front of him. The man was astonished.He went on, and after awhile he was going to cross the road. Once again the voice shouted: "Stop! Stand still! If you take one more step a car will run over you and you will die." The man did as he was instructed, and a car came careening around the corner, barely missing him. "Where are you?" the man asked.

Walking by, a minister saw his 5-year-old son and playmates find a dead robin. Feeling that proper burial should be performed, the children had secured a small box and cotton batting, then dug a hole and made ready for the disposal of the deceased. The minister's son was chosen to say the appropriate prayers and with sonorous dignity intoned his version of what he thought his father always said: "Glory be unto the Faaaather, and unto the Sonnn... and into the hole he gooooes."

A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because he was short of time and couldn't find a space with a meter. So he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: "I have circled the block 10 times. If I don't park here, I'll miss my appointment. FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES." When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with this note: "I've circled this block for 10 years. If I don't give you a ticket, I'll lose my job. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION."

A couple had two little boys who were always getting into trouble. Their parents knew that if any mischief occurred in their village, their sons were probably involved.

The boys' mother heard that an elder in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her sons. The elder agreed, but asked to see them separately.

Unbelievable!I also looked on Snopes and typed in hairbands and it did come out stating it was a true story. I would never have thought of that..

Well, this "upstanding man" who is the epitome of the family man has a secret, sort of.

My husband and I have been
watching some biographies on TV of many great singers of all genres
such a Luciano Pavarotti, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash.

I love many singers but my favorites are (in no particular order):

Luciano Pavarotti - opera - this man, in my opinion, is the greatest opera singer to ever grace the face of the earth.

Josh Groban - contemporary - his deep, easy, rich tones are so

My 9 year old daughter has began learning about poverty. She ased me a week ago if we were poor. I said well, we are not rich but I wouldn't say we are poor. I was embaressed!

I am pretty sure that my cat needs some type of pill to control her mood swings. One minute she loves you and the next she is hissing, bitting, and attacking you. I have never seen such an angry cat before . Have you?

Does anyone have Gmail? I signed up for a Gmail account and OMG I have never seen email that is so hard to keep track of. They have 1 minute advertising or something like that. I guess I am so used to having my Yahoo mail and being able to read it much easier than Gmail, I guess I will keep my yahoo mail and get rid of my gmail.

Well, mine in having a baby and building a family of my own.  It is a big responsibility to bring up a child and it will always remain a noble thing to be a good parent to one's child.

Are you able to strictly follow what they say about drinking 8-12 glasses of water everyday? I try to follow this as much as I can but there are times when I just really can't take in so much liquid. I'd often times feel bloated and full.
