Gas price is continuously increasing right now. Which one you preferred, step by step increase ( Weekly ) or Bulk increase ( One time )?

I'll go with a step by step increase since I can save from it compared to one time increase.

Want to supercharge your metabolism, enhance your energy and lose weight all at the same time?  Pamela Bond of Delicious Living says, it boils down to NUTRITION: HERBS,SUPPLEMENTS and LIFESTYLE:  eat early and eat often.  If you skip breakfast, you sabotage your metabolism and have sugar cravings later.  Make it protein rich; eat three meals a day, plus a snack or two in between.  And stop eatinjg 2-3 hours before bedtime.  If you go to sleep with food in your stomach, you store it and don't burn it.  Research shows that green tea works with caffeine to boost metabolism.  Go organi

Those curly-q looking light bulbs that save energy -- well caution.  They contain mercury which is poisonous if dropped.  Don't drop them.

Use Garlic

Flavor your meals with one garlic clove (cooked or raw) daily and your chance of developing cardiovascular disease drops by 25%.  That's because garlic inhibits the cholesterol production in the liver, much the way statin drugs do.  Garlic specifically lowers low-density lipoprotein LDL and may help to usher this bad form of cholesterol out of the body.

Red Wine

Sipping 5 ounces of red wine daily lowers LDL, raises the good high-density lipoprotein HDL cholesterol and prevents LDL oxidation and the formation of dangerous blood clots.  This is according to Health Magazine DELICIOUS LIVING.  Red wine's protective antioxidants slash cardiovascular disease risk by 32%.

Your Thyroid Gland

Dr. Nieca Goldberg of Ballantine Books recommends that we have our thyroid checked.  You want to know if it is under active or over active which can make you feel nervous and weak.  If it is under active, one may feel tired and forgetful and start gaining weight.  "Thyroid disease is one of the most commonly undiagnosed conditions."  There are so many other conditions important for a proper functioning thyroid.  Only your doctor with a yearly exam at least will be able to tell you, and prescribe medicine accordingly.

You may already know about how heavy bags can harm your back.  Or those high heels that you love can do a number on your feet.  Well, Dr.

Family History

What's my family medical history?  Get an idea of the diseases that have occurred in relatives that may be hereditary, so you and your doctors can watch out for warning signs and make necessary lifestyle changes and adjustments.  For example, if diabetes runs in your family, its helpful to know that and see how you can lessen the impact should you be faced with this illness.

Costco and Vitamins

I mean how can the 2 be in the same sentence.  When a friend told me they buy vitamins from Costco I thought that defeats the purpose.  I prefer the HealthFood Store, and there must be an expiration date.

Know Your Numbers

I once dumped a doctor because he lagged on helping me correct vital numbers as in cholesteral  hdl and ldl.   I thank God for my sister who advised what the medical associations recommend.  HDL is the good cholesterol, and LDL is the bad stuff.  When the physician orders a blood lipid panel, the desired total level is below 200.  They like LDL to be below 70 and HDL around 60, that's md/dl.  Depending on your family history, you may need medicine to help lower it, I did.  And now with salads nearly every day. and fiber added to my yogurt,  I am much better off.

Salmonella

It lurks in 90 percent of kitchen sinks.   Likely because of how often we have meat in the sink washing it to prepare for cooking.   Disinfect weekly, and don't forget the faucet handles.

Sweet Dreams

Sleep, that knits up the ravell'd sleeve of care, The death of each day's life, sore labour's bath,    Balm of hurt minds, great nature's second, Chief nourisher in life's feast.  Shakespeare,    MacBeth
